To develop the entrepreneurial mindset of technically skilled youth. The programme inspires participants to start an entrepreneurial journey, improve the number and breadth of quality ideas, and gain clarity on how to and where to start an enterprise.

In this course we will be exploring what it means to be an entrepreneur or intrapreneur and equipping you with the tools and skills that will help you achieve your goals. The focus is on the entire entrepreneurial journey from understanding the principles behind coming up with a solution to a problem to ultimately running a business. The skills you will learn are transferable and will be beneficial to you regardless of the career path you decide to follow.

After completing the course, you will have the opportunity of graduating to become part of a community of Allan Gray Makers who use their skills to positively impact society.

The focus of this course is to activate the entrepreneur in you!

Assessment and Award

Each module has a compulsory individual learning activity that you will need to complete.

You will receive a certificate once you've finished the course.

What is the Allan Gray Makers programme?

The Allan Gray Makers is a programme funded by the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Endowment that supports and nurtures responsible, technically-talented entrepreneurs and the ecosystem they operate in. Through the growth of these businesses, the programme aims to accelerate meaningful employment creation. The programme has three pillars: MakersAcademy, MakersHub, MakersMovement. This course is part of the MakersAcademy
